Contest Rules and Regulations

The following describes rules and regulations for the KansasCity.com promotion of the Kansas City Arena Football League's giveaway of 2 season tickets for the 2006 season. Contestants must qualify to win by satisfying the terms, requirements and conditions set forth:

  1. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
  2. This contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws.
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. Employees of KansasCity.com, The Kansas City Star, KC Arena Sports & Entertainment and their subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and members of each of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each are not eligible.
  5. All entries become property of KC Arena Sports & Entertainment.
  6. KansasCity.com and KC Arena Sports & Entertainment's decisions are final in all matters regarding entries.
  7. Odds of winning depend on total number of entries received.
  8. Winner will be selected by random drawing and contacted by phone no later than Wednesday, November 16, 2005.
  9. The prizewinner assumes sole responsibility for all requirements and associated taxes – state, federal or other.
  10. Prize must be claimed no later than Wednesday, December 7, 2005. Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable. No other prize or cash substitutions will be made. Prize claimed after Wednesday, December 7, 2005 will be forfeited. Winner must show drivers license or other government issued photo ID to claim prize.
  11. Winner agrees that the sponsors and their employees, immediate family or parent affiliates shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance on and/or participation in prize and/or directors and others from any and all liability prior to receiving any prize.
  12. Winner entries and acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use his/her name, photograph and likeness for use on the Internet or other purposes of advertising and promotion on behalf of the sponsors without compensation.
  13. KansasCity.com and KC Arena Sports & Entertainment reserve the right to make changes in the rules and prize of the contest, which will become effective upon announcement.
